The first article of our series is on antivirus. Protecting yourself and your computer should be a concern for every Canadian as well as all small businesses as it affects the ability of your laptop/computer to function and execute basic tasks. It also affects your security and the privacy of your data.
This is the start of our series on computer and laptop viruses. In this series we will examine both recovering from a virus (how to remove viruses) and preventative measures (anti–virus software). First off, there are many names for computer viruses:
 Malware
Viruses
Spyware
Trojans
But they all result in similar issues - your computer/laptop will perform poorly.
